1. Care
The primary purpose is to provide a place for individual rest, convalescence and healing. We cannot however offer qualified nursing care. There are normally opportunities available for guests to receive healing through the 'laying on of hands' and a listening ear. It is an ideal place for people working under stress to find relaxation.

With its atmosphere of peace and relaxation, Claridge House provides an ideal environment for individuals and small groups to undertake a variety of spiritually-orientated and closely related activities such as:

We provide an ideal base for short breaks and longer visits for those wishing to enjoy and explore the surrounding areas of London or Kent, Surrey and Sussex. There are more than a dozen National Trust, English Heritage and private properties and gardens open to the public within easy reach including: Chartwell, Hever Castle, Penshurst Place, Sheffield Park, Standen, Wakehurst Place and Wisley Gardens. Closer to home, in the immediate vicinity, there are many miles of attractive walks to explore, including the Sussex Border Path and the Vanguard Way.
There will usually be an opportunity to join in circle dancing and to discuss a book.
